Book todayThe GDPR, which came into effect on 25 May 2018, has revolutionised data protection legislation. The DPA 2018 incorporates the GDPR into UK law and fills in aspects of the Regulation that were left to individual member states to interpret and implement. The DPA 2018 also covers certain types of personal data processing that fall outside the GDPR’s scope, including processing by public authorities.
The DPA 2018 supports the GDPR, which is why the two laws should be read together to ensure you fully understand your regulatory obligations. Book the two courses together to receive a 15% discount.
