Explains the GDPR’s data processing principles and organisations’ roles and responsibilities.
Outlines key compliance obligations, such as data subject rights and how to fulfil DSARs (data subject access rights).

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for purchasing this training course. However, you will be sent pre-reading material 20 days before your course begins, which we strongly recommend completing in advance.

Exam information

Whether attending the one- or two-day course, attendees take the ISO 17024-certificated UK GDPR F exam set by IBITGQ (International Board for IT Governance Qualifications). There is no extra charge for this exam.

The assessment is delivered online and lasts 60 minutes.

Can exams be retaken?

Yes, if you are unsuccessful on the first attempt, you can retake the exam for an additional fee.

Qualifications

Those that pass the exam will earn the ISO 17024-certificated UK GDPR F qualification – recognised by employers worldwide.

I attended the Live Online version of this course which was a really easy process to login to the course and complete the included exam. It is a complex subject but the trainer explained everything in great detail and went at a good pace. Lots of chances to ask questions and go over practice questions before sitting the included exam which I passed with a good score, Credit to the trainer on preparing us for the exam.

A very informative course and a lot to pack in within the day but definitely worthwhile attending. Having read all the material prior to the course it was extremely useful for the trainer to then go over in depth the different subject matter for what is a very dry but extremely important subject. This course is ideal for all that require the basics in GDPR, any additional requirements and you will definitely need the Practitioners course.

I found this course really useful as it gave a good understanding of GDPR and the trainer really helped the entire group absorb the information. However be prepared it is a complex subject and there is a lot to take in ready for the exam at the end of the course.

The delivery was fast-paced and concise, covering a large amount of practical information enabling me to pass the assessment. Anyone new to GDPR, I’d highly recommend reading the pre-course material. Exam - all covered in the materials, few tricky questions! Overall, a very good way to learn more about GDPR. Practitioner course next!

Really good trainer! He kept us all engaged, made it interesting and we enjoyed it. Only thing that I would change was the length of the class. I think it would have been more beneficial to hold over two days as a lot to take in and I would have liked to have asked more questions. Other than that, really good and would recommend if looking to understand the basics or start a path into being a DPO
