Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for purchasing this training course. However, you will be sent pre-reading material 20 days before your course begins, which we strongly recommend completing in advance.

Exam information

Whether attending the one- or two-day course, attendees take the ISO 17024-certificated UK GDPR F exam set by IBITGQ (International Board for IT Governance Qualifications). There is no extra charge for this exam.

The assessment is delivered online and lasts 60 minutes.

Can exams be retaken?

Yes, if you are unsuccessful on the first attempt, you can retake the exam for an additional fee.

Qualifications

Those that pass the exam will earn the ISO 17024-certificated UK GDPR F qualification – recognised by employers worldwide.

Matt was an excellent facilitator. He was incredibly engaging and kept the energy high for what could be considered a pretty tricky (and dull) topic! The content was also digestible and can sometime move quite fast as there is a lot to cover in the one day course, so I would recommend doing the pre-reading beforehand so it doesn't seem too foreign. Overall great course and I would use this provider again.

Delivered well - must have been as I passed easily! Its a dry topic but the instructor got us through the day well and set me up nicely for DPO course that followed

I found the foundation course to be extremely informative. I do feel that it could have been carried out over 2 shorter days, as its a long time to spend online on one topic. IT's a lot of information to consume and I would recommend ensuring you have read your course material and even doing a bit of your own research to familiarise yourself with the subject.

Excellent course with an excellent instructor. As others have mentioned, it is a lot of information. However, this is delivered in the most accessible and engaging way possible. Opens doors to the next level and does a good job of putting attendees on that path. Would highly reccomend.

An excellent course as an introduction to fundamental knowledge. My suggestion would be to complete this alongside the practitioner course - a lot of the questions and discussions held ended up with "that will be covered in the practitioner course" as an answer.

Fantastic coverage of the GDPR, led by a very knowledgeable instructor who could provide real life examples to contextualise the theory. The course was well structured, but be warned - its a lot of information for one day. Im sure it will take a couple of days of private recap over the excellent materials provided to cement this learning.
