IT Governance partners with Cloud communications pioneer X-on

08/05/2018

IT Governance, a leading authority on data protection, risk management and compliance solutions, is thrilled to announce its new partnership with X-on, a global services company specialising in Cloud communications.

X-on will now represent IT Governance’s portfolio of outstanding cyber security products in the UK, including Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) solutions. The GDPR will place a range of new data protection obligations on organisations when it comes into force on 25 May 2018, so the demand for expertise and innovation in the field is greater than ever.

Alan Calder, founder and executive chairman of IT Governance, said: “We’re delighted to partner with X-on and have them represent our broad portfolio of products. This partnership is in addition to our continued direct strategy, and aligns us with a company that shares IT Governance’s passion to provide the best cyber security solutions. With new laws and regulations, such as the GDPR, coming into force, we relish this opportunity to provide comprehensive support to organisations looking to improve their cyber security.”

Paul Heeren, marketing director at X-on, said: “Since 2000, X-on has pushed the envelope in the development and delivery of advanced voice and data technology to a substantial client base across healthcare, notification, retail and top 100 corporates.”

“A level 1 PCI DSS-compliant network operator and provider of secure credit card payment services, X-on has formed a symbiotic partnership with IT Governance, further deepening client data security in an era of increasing risk and tightening regulation.”

As a leading provider of GDPR expertise and solutions, IT Governance can support organisations in initiating and maintaining a compliance project through certified GDPR training courses, books, documentation toolkits, staff awareness, compliance tools and consultancy.
