IT Governance Ltd, a division of GRCI International Group plc, is proud to announce a three-year partnership with Gallagher Premiership team Saracens to deliver cyber risk and privacy management solutions to the organisation.
Established in 1876, Saracens are currently enjoying one of the most successful periods in the club’s history. The north London side are the current Premiership Rugby champions and have also enjoyed European success in recent seasons, winning back to back Champions Cup titles in 2016 and 2017.
Having engaged Saracens earlier this year for its GDPR compliance project, IT Governance has become a Club Supporter and part of the Saracens Commercial Partner family to ensure continued security and resilience in today’s shifting threat landscape.
As a leading provider of risk management solutions, IT Governance is well-positioned to address Saracens’ cyber security and compliance requirements, enabling it to meet the vast range of commercial requirements and regulatory standards that are now in force.
IT Governance will provide an outsourced information security function, Cyber Security as a Service (CSaaS), across the term of the agreement, comprising security governance, security assurance and testing, security awareness training and security audits.
Alan Calder, founder and executive chairman of IT Governance, said: “We are thrilled to become part of Saracens’ Commercial partner family. As new regulations come into force, organisations need to change the way they tackle cyber security.
“We are pleased that Saracens has recognised the need for cyber resilience and look forward to the opportunity to help them on their continuous improvement journey.”
Tim Hunt, responsible for commercial operations at Saracens, said: “It is great to be able to welcome GRC International to the Saracens family. GRC has a global ambition built on high-quality local delivery and this very much aligns with our objectives and ambition at Saracens as we look to build on our position as London’s global rugby club.”
