Prerequisites

Although there are no formal entry requirements for this training course, attendees are expected to have some existing knowledge information security concepts.

Exam information

Attendees take the BCS Foundation Certificate in Information Security Management Principles (CISMP). There is no extra charge for this exam.

The exam is delivered online and lasts 120 minutes.

Can exams be retaken?

Yes, if you are unsuccessful on the first attempt, you can retake the exam for an additional fee.

Qualifications

Those that pass the exam will earn the BCS Foundation Certificate in Information Security Management Principles (CISMP).

This course awards 35 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) points, which are accredited by the CPD Certification Service.

A really good course - great materials and a highly experience trainer in Kieran Mulligan - plenty of good technical reference points and useful takeaway information/materials - course happily more than met with my expectations - only thing that would have made it a 5-star review is I would have enjoyed a lot more if I had attended the training in person. Kamala was very good indeed - clearly knows the subject inside/out and as a small training group, this felt more like a one-to-one guide of CISMP - Course materials of a high quality. I took a lot of really useful information from the course and despite being involved in Information Security for a number of years, this course certainly gave me a lot of new knowledge. Recommended and wholly met expectations.
