Provides a comprehensive and structured introduction to the GDPR.
Explains the GDPR’s data processing principles and organisations’ roles and responsibilities.
Outlines key compliance obligations, such as data subject rights and how to fulfil DSARs (data subject access rights).

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for purchasing this training course. However, you will be sent pre-reading material 20 days before your course begins, which we strongly recommend completing in advance.

Exam information

Whether attending the one- or two-day course, attendees take the ISO 17024-certificated UK GDPR F exam set by IBITGQ (International Board for IT Governance Qualifications). There is no extra charge for this exam.

The assessment is delivered online and lasts 60 minutes.

Can exams be retaken?

Yes, if you are unsuccessful on the first attempt, you can retake the exam for an additional fee.

Qualifications

Those that pass the exam will earn the ISO 17024-certificated UK GDPR F qualification – recognised by employers worldwide.

The trainer Andrew Snow managed to keep me focused and interested throughout the day. I acknowledge this is a dry subject matter for many but Andrew leading the delivery changed this into a very interesting debate about GDPR. Andrew's GDPR knowledge is of the highest level and he answered all our questions. I'm thinking about doing a full C-DPO course now. Thank you!

Great materials, great trainer in Andrew Snow - so glad I took this course as I have just changed job roles to one focused on Information Governance and Security - learnt such a lot. Andrew Snow delivered a huge amount of informative material, answered plenty of questions and shared his real life experiences which helped a great deal with context. A solid 4 stars - the only reason I would not give this 5 stars, which is the fact that I was unable to attend in person - I feel that my experience would have been much more enhanced within the classroom environment. Good quality learner materials serve as great post course references. Trainer Andy Snow was knowledgeable, engaging and kept a good pace. I especially appreciated him checking the learners' understanding throughout and answering any questions with ease and an unflappable delivery style. His real world cases certainly demonstrated relevance and left me confident around the subject. I would wholeheartedly recommend IT Governance and this training course which I consider excellent value for money.

Actually a 4.5 star review - Really good course - highly recommended - has increased my knowledge of the subject - really helpful trainer in Andrew Snow who answered plenty of questions and gave real world scenarios to help drive home key points - Would recommend to anyone needing insight into the subject. Despite this being a Foundation level course, there is a lot of information to learn on the day but I have certainly gained insight and looking forward to my next course with IT Governance.
