CEH was introduced in 2003 and is updated every four years. The latest version (CEH v13) covers Parrot OS, enhanced Cloud security, IoT threats, operational technology attacks and fileless malware.
Awarded by EC-Council, CEH is globally recognised as the qualification of choice for careers in ethical hacking and penetration testing . It’s also desirable for roles in SOC teams or as a cyber security analyst.
CEH qualifications have to be renewed every four years so people holding CEH or CEH Master keep up to date and are bound by an ethical code. Several cyber security regulations require organisations to perform regular resilience testing, penetration tests or ethical hacking exercises. Consequently, demand is rising around the world for qualified ethical hackers.
CEH is accredited by the NCSC Certified Training scheme as a Courseware-level qualification that supports the career and skills development of UK cyber security professionals.

Successfully completing the course and exams awards the following qualifications:
You can retake the CEH exam an unlimited number of times, with a maximum of four retakes per year under EC-Council rules. Please note that a proctor administration fee (£80) will be charged for each attempt at the exam.
