This is the official 3-day COBIT 5 Foundation Course using content with the permission of ISACA. It includes the official certified COBIT 5 Foundation exam from APMG. It is an interactive classroom-based training course based on the latest version, COBIT 5.

Exams and qualifications

COBIT®5 Foundation training course exam

Attendees take the COBIT 5 Foundation exam. This is a 40-minute multiple-choice paper exam, consisting of 50 questions. Candidates need to achieve a minimum of 50% to pass. There is no extra charge for taking the exam.

What qualifications will I receive?

Successful candidates will be awarded the COBIT 5 Foundation qualification, issued by APMG-International. There is no extra charge for taking the exam at the end of the course.

Can exams be retaken?

Yes, if you are unsuccessful on the first attempt you can retake the exam for an additional fee. You will have to register, pay and reschedule to the exam on the APMG Website

Prerequisites

Are there any prerequisites for this course?

There are no prerequisites for this course, however we recommend that delegates have some understanding of IT governance.

Is there any recommended reading?

We would recommend purchasing one or more of the following

COBIT 5 Manual - specifically chapters 1-8 (pp. 11-45) for this course
Implementing Service Quality based on ISO/IEC 20000 - A Management Guide
The Definitive Guide to IT Service Metrics

Do I need to bring proof of identity?

Delegates must bring a form of photographic ID with them as the invigilator my request to check it prior to the exam.
