Prerequisites

There are no formal entry requirements for this training course. However, attendees are expected to have a strong understanding of ISO 27001, which can be achieved through practical experience or by passing the Certified ISO 27001:2022 ISMS Foundation Training Course.

Exam information

Attendees take the ISO 27001:2022 Certified ISMS Lead Auditor (CIS LA) exam set by IBITGQ (International Board for IT Governance Qualifications). There is no extra charge for this exam.

Can exams be retaken?

Yes, if you are unsuccessful on the first attempt, you can retake the exam for an additional fee.

Qualifications

Those that pass the exam will earn the ISO 27001:2022 Certified ISMS Lead Implementer (CIS LI) qualification. This certification is valid for three years, after which time candidates must recertify.

This course awards 35 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) points, which are accredited by the CPD Certification Service.

Please note: ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Lead Implementer and Lead Auditor certifications are valid for 3 years. Renewal is required to retain certification status.

While the course is rich in content and facilitated by a knowledgeable tutor, the pacing is intense, making it challenging to absorb the vast amount of information. The presentation could be more dynamic to enhance focus. The quality of training materials is OK.
