Provides a comprehensive overview of the ISO 27001:2022 standard, including its key principles and requirements.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for this course. However, we recommend reading ISO 27001:2022 – An introduction to information security and the ISMS standard before taking the course, as it will help you understand the fundamental concepts covered in this programme.

Exam information

Attendees take the ISO 17024-certificated CIS F (Certified ISO 27001:2022 ISMS Foundation) exam set by IBITGQ (International Board for IT Governance Qualifications). There is no extra charge for this exam.

The assessment is delivered online and lasts 60 minutes.

Can exams be retaken?

Yes, if you are unsuccessful on the first attempt, you can retake the exam for an additional fee.

Qualifications

Those that pass the exam will earn the ISO 17024-certificated Certified ISO 27001:2022 ISMS Foundation (CIS F) qualification – recognised by employers worldwide.

This course awards 7 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) points, which are accredited by the CPD Certification Service.

The instructor was great, covered all of the content needed to pass the exam at the end and provided a good basis for understanding ISO

It was a good course. A lot of material covered plus an exam at the end. I would suggest that some revision time before the exam as there was not a lot of time to prep and digest the whole course material.

Good course, alot of material to take in then the test is after it straight away. Would recommend a revisiion time period of say 30 minutes to independently go over the course material before the test

It was a good course, a lot of material to go through and very little time at the end before jumping in to the exam. My recommendation would be to book the exam on a separate day so that you can digest some of the content further.

Good course if a little generic, had an issue with course material but was rectified. Would advise investing and testing Camera setup and streaming quality was very poor. ie 360p.
