Before joining this course, you must know about the GDPR and have passed the Certified GDPR Foundation examination.

Please make sure you revise the topics covered in the course before attending the Certified Data Protection Officer (C-DPO) Training Course, as topics will not be revisited but may be included in the exam.

Attendees take the Certified Data Protection Officer (C-DPO) exam set by IBITGQ at the end of the course. There is no extra charge for this exam.

What qualifications will I receive?

Candidates who pass the exam are awarded the C-DPO (Provisional) qualification by IBITGQ.

To achieve fully Certified DPO status and obtain the C-DPO Professional qualification awarded by IBITGQ, you must provide evidence of 36 months of DPO work experience and 50 CPD learning hours.

How will I receive my exam results and certificates?

Provisional exam results will be given immediately after completing the exam, confirmed results will be issued within ten working days with your certificate to your email address.

Can exams be retaken?

Yes, if you are unsuccessful on the first attempt you can retake the exam for an additional fee. You can email us to schedule the retest for the exam.

Do I need to bring proof of identity?

Participants must have a form of photographic ID as the invigilator my request to check it before the exam.

The trainer (Matt) was extremely knowledgeable about the subject area and was totally engaging and enthusiastic – his delivery of the training materials was first-class! I would thoroughly recommend this course to anyone wishing to build on their existing GDPR knowledge in order to take on the role of Data Protection Officer.
