Event description:
The Data Protection Practitioners Conference is a one-day event organised by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) which will focus on bringing together the latest expertise in information security and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliance. The event aims to analyse and evaluate the impact that the GDPR will have on the data security landscape, and to ensure practitioners are prepared for and up-to-date with the ever-evolving nature of their work.
The conference will consist of an information market comprising both internal and external exhibitors, as well as seminars and drop-in sessions. Topics include data protection impact assessments, children’s privacy, public authority specific obligations, the ICO Regulatory Action Policy post-GDPR and more.
