IT Governance Distance Learning FAQs

IT Governance aims to deliver a consistent and seamless experience for distance learning participants. Through our regional one-stop shops, distance learning delegates now have control of their course bookings from within their account area.

Once you have purchased your course, you’ll be able to access it instantly in your Account. You can also assign employees to courses or mark the course as complete when you’re ready to take your exam.

Please see the FAQs below for more information about our distance learning courses and how to manage and edit your bookings online.

How do I book a distance learning course online?

Follow these simple steps to shop with us:

  • Hover over the ‘TRAINING’ link in the top menu and select ‘Distance learning training’ under the ‘Shop by category’ header. Alternatively, you can use the search bar in the top menu to find the course(s) that you’re looking for.
  • On the product page, select the quantity (number of places) required and click the ‘Add to basket’ button.
  • A pop-up will appear where you can view all the items in your basket. From here, you can either continue shopping or go to the checkout.
  • You will need to log in to your account to complete your order. If you are a new customer, you will need to create an account.
  • Enter your billing address and payment details.
  • If you have a promotional code, please enter it in the promo box and click ‘Add’.
  • You will need to agree to our terms and conditions and confirm that you meet the minimum age restriction. Click the ‘Place order’ button to complete your order.

Can I order over the phone?

Yes, we can take orders over the phone. Please call our customer service team on +44 (0)333 800 7000. Our phone lines are open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. If our offices are closed, you can order online at any time by visiting our online shop.

How do I log in to the LMS (learning management system?

You can access the LMS here, or via your account page:

  • You will need to log into your account which you can do here.
  • Under the ‘Learning management system’ header you will see an ‘Access course’ link. Click this to access your course.

How do I access my course materials?

You can access your course materials by logging in to the LMS, or via your account page:

  • You will need to log into your account which you can do here.
  • Scroll down to the ‘Distance Learning Courses' header, where you will be able to view your distance learning course booking(s).
  • Under the ‘Learning management system’ header you will see an ‘Access course’ link. Click this to access your course.

How do I add delegates?

  • You will need to log into your account which you can do here.
  • Scroll down to the ‘Distance Learning Courses' header, where you will be able to view your distance learning course booking(s).
  • Click the ‘Add delegate(s)’ link and input the required delegate details. Please enter this information carefully as it cannot be amended once saved.

How do I change delegate details if I’ve made an error?

How do I reset my LMS password?

Select the ‘Forgotten your username or password?’ option on the LMS landing page. Alternatively, you can email our E-learning Support Team, who will be able to assist you.

How do I take my exam?

When you have completed your course and you’re ready to take your exam, you will need to mark the course as complete in your account.

  • To do this you will need to log into your account which you can do here.
  • Scroll down to the ‘Distance Learning Courses' header, where you will be able to view your distance learning course booking(s). Select the ‘Course completed’ button.

This will notify our E-learning Support Team, who will contact the examination board to obtain your login credentials and forward them to you along with full guidance on how to schedule your exam. Please note, it can take up to 48 hours to obtain the login credentials. Candidates are advised not to schedule their exam within 72 hours as there is an additional charge.
