Cyber Essentials Certification

This service is for organisations that do not need one-to-one consultancy support and are comfortable carrying out all the preparations for certification themselves.

What's included?

  • Cyber Essentials certification. The price of Cyber Essentials is from £320 + VAT, as set by IASME. Additional charges are for extra services provided. Price is dependent on the size of the organisation being certified.
  • One-to-one support from our “world-class”-rated team.
  • Two attempts to achieve a positive outcome.
  • £25,000 free cyber insurance.*

This service is suitable for your organisation if:

  • You are confident in defining the scope of your assessment encompassing the entire organisation;
  • You own and operate your entire scope of IT infrastructure;
  • You are familiar with the five key controls covered in the Cyber Essentials questionnaire and how to meet them; or
  • You have previously certified and are looking to renew and your scope has not changed.

Conditions

  • If you don’t pass first time, you’ll receive feedback on any issues or areas of improvements and you will have two working days to submit a further attempt for certification.
  • If you are not successful on your second submission, you will need to purchase a new application and reapply.
  • If you subsequently apply for Cyber Essentials Plus certification and are unsuccessful, your Cyber Essentials certification may be revoked.
  • Once a package is purchased, you have six months to complete your assessment.

This Cyber Essentials package includes the cost of your Cyber Essentials certification, as set out by IASME. Additional charges are for extra services delivered by us.

Prices quoted are available for purchase online through the website only. Any purchases processed offline through our sales teams will be subject to a £50 administration fee.

Although we have ISO 27001 we have found that Cyber Essentials still adds value to our cyber security controls. This is our second year achieving Cyber Essentials certification and we have seen the growth of Cyber Essentials as a prerequisite for doing business with our customers. Achieving Cyber Essentials was seen as a way to demonstrate a level of assurance to our customers, by showing that security controls are in place to protect the business, its IT systems and information, and that these controls have been assessed against an independent, formal framework.
