The phishing staff awareness e-learning course overview

The course is available on a one-year, easily renewable licence. Simply purchase the number of licences needed, according to the staff numbers who use email as part of their work. Giving staff regular refresher training means they are much more likely to retain and put the information they learn into practice.

Cyber security and phishing go hand in hand, so doing everything you can to defend against phishing attacks is essential. According to a survey by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, 80% of organisations that suffered a cyber attack report being targeted by phishing attacks.

Assessment

The course assessment comprises 20 randomly selected multiple-choice questions.

Retake

The course can be retaken as many times as needed until the pass mark has been achieved.

Audit trail

A certificate is issued to all staff who pass the test that displays their test score. This is trackable in the LMS, and provides excellent proof of participation should you be audited.

Individual e-learning licences are best suited to small organisations that require easy and immediate implementation of staff awareness solutions. You can purchase up to 5 individual e-learning licences at a time.

Corporate e-learning licences are best suited to organisations that require full oversight of the implementation and uptake of their staff awareness programme. You can purchase up to 250 individual e-learning licences at a time.

Individual licences

To complete the fulfilment process, please follow the below steps once you have purchased your licences:

  1. Please provide the required fulfilment information. You can do this by going to your My Account page and scrolling down to ‘E-learning Courses’, where you can select ‘Add delegate(s)’.
  2. Please provide the required delegate information. Please enter this information carefully as it cannot be amended once saved.
  3. New users will receive an email from the GRC eLearning Learning Management System (LMS) with their log-in details and a link to the e-learning course. Existing customers will just receive an email with a link to the e-learning course.

Please note: Delegates must access the course via the link in the email they receive in order to activate the e-learning course.


Corporate licences

To complete the fulfilment process, please follow the below steps once you have purchased your licences:

  1. Please provide the required fulfilment information. You can do this by going to your My Account page and scrolling down to ‘E-learning Courses’, where you can select ‘Add company details’.
  2. If you are a new customer, please enter the required company information and administrator details. After you have registered your company details and assigned an administrator, you will receive a confirmation email. Please keep this safe as it will contain important information that you will require for future e-learning licence purchases. Your assigned administrator will also receive an email stating the next steps.
  3. If you are a registered company, please enter your Company ID (Short Name) and press save.
  4. The administrator will now be able to manage the booking via the GRC eLearning Learning Management System (LMS).
  5. You will then be able to allocate your licences:
    • For up to ten users: add the email addresses of your employees into the LMS when prompted.
    • For more than ten users: upload a CSV file containing the email addresses to the LMS.
  6. New users will receive an email from the GRC eLearning Learning Management System (LMS) with their log-in details and a link to the e-learning course. Existing customers will just receive an email with a link to the e-learning course.
  7. Customise the course with your branding using the LMS. Go to the edit company page and upload your logo. You can also update the colours by adding the hex code to a short piece of CSS code. It’s easy to do, and our team will be on hand to support you where required.
  8. Add your documentation to your organisation’s dedicated wiki within the LMS. Adding important policies, imagery and relevant information helps keep your staff informed.
