Overview

Improve employee safety, reduce workplace incidents and create better safer working conditions

According to a report from the ILO (International Labour Organization), there are more than 2.78 million deaths and 374 million non-fatal injuries and illnesses per year due to occupational accidents or work-related diseases.

In the UK, an estimated 38.8 million working days were lost in 2019–2020 due to work-related illness and injury, with 1.6 million people suffering from a work-related illness.

Can your organisation afford to contribute to these statistics? Even if your staff work remotely, you still have an obligation to protect the health and safety of your employees.

How can ISO 45001 help?

ISO 45001 is the international standard for creating and maintaining an OHSMS (occupational health and safety management system). The Standard provides guidance and a practical set of processes for improving worker safety. It is designed to help organisations of all sizes worldwide reduce workplace injuries and illnesses.

Creating and maintaining an OHSMS demonstrates employer due diligence and reasonable care, reduces workplace incidents, improves employee health, reduces absenteeism, increases productivity and creates a safer working environment for employees.
