IT Governance to sponsor GDPR For Law Firms 2018

IT Governance, the world leader in the field of data protection, risk management and compliance solutions, is sponsoring ARK Group’s GDPR For Law Firms 2018 event later this month, with IT Governance’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) consultant Shaun Beresford set to appear.
The one-day event will focus on helping law firms drive a cultural change to prepare for the GDPR compliance deadline of 25 May 2018. Designed for those involved in compliance and marketing, the event will take a holistic, practical approach, offering attendees an action plan that can be implemented to ensure they are ready for the deadline.
Alan Calder, the founder and executive chairman of IT Governance, said: “With the GDPR edging ever closer, IT Governance welcomes the chance to support this event. Most law firms are underway with their GDPR compliance projects, but will benefit from attending this event to gain useful insights and tips to help them gain momentum.”
‘GDPR: The Final Furlong’, presented by Shaun, will provide an overview of GDPR quick wins, including how to create an internal framework, working with limited budgets and a guide to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) 12-step compliance programme.
The event takes place on 24 April at the Grange City Hotel in London. Visit the event’s website to register and see the agenda, including the speakers and seminar topics. Clients and attendees are encouraged to visit the IT Governance stand.
