IT Governance to exhibit at Cyber Security EXPO in London

16/10/2017

IT Governance, the leading provider of cyber security consultancy and training, is pleased to announce it will exhibit at the Cyber Security EXPO recruitment and networking event in London this October.

The EXPO aims to bring together IT professionals, graduates and those interested in pursuing a career in cyber security under one roof with leading industry employers. This one-day event will allow attendees to discover career prospects and routes to gaining recognised qualifications.

With the introduction of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Network and Information Systems (NIS) Directive, organisations are looking to appoint data protection officers (DPO) and cyber security professionals to enhance their risk management and achieve continued compliance. With average salaries for GDPR-related jobs having increased by up to 20% in the last year, there’s never been a better time to invest in data protection and GDPR training.

Founder and executive chairman of IT Governance, Alan Calder, said: “There is a growing demand for trained cyber security professionals to help boost compliance and understanding of IT management across the board.

“We’re delighted to be exhibiting at the Cyber Security EXPO. This is a fantastic opportunity for both businesses and individuals to bridge the global skills gap in information security and data protection”.

IT Governance offers a range of training courses to help individuals further their career in cyber security via online and classroom-based learning.

The event takes place on 24 October from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm at the QEII centre, opposite Westminster Abbey in London. Tickets are available on the event registration page and attendees can visit the IT Governance stand to speak with one of our cyber security experts.
