The Dementia Care & Nursing Home Expo, which takes place later this month, will see IT Governance in attendance and delivering a key seminar on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and how to initiate a compliant code.
The two-day event gives companies exposure to thousands of nursing, care and residential home owners and directors, with the opportunity to sell products and services to this highly targeted group of people on a face-to-face basis.
Alan Calder, the founder and executive chairman of IT Governance, said: “With many years’ experience in the healthcare industry, IT Governance is well positioned to aid this sector on all things GDPR. We look forward to attending this exhibition and being able to inform clients of this important and imminent piece of legislation.”
‘The impact of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and initiating compliance’ will be delivered by IT Governance’s GDPR consultant Shaun Beresford. The presentation will educate the healthcare community on the GDPR’s impact, and provide key recommendations and a step-by-step approach to initiating a GDPR-compliant project.
The expo will take place on 25–26 April at the NEC, Birmingham. Visit the event website
