IT Governance, the leading provider of information security, risk management and compliance solutions, has introduced new course dates for its popular ISO 27001 and Certificate in Information Security Management Principles (CISMP) training courses.
Alan Calder, founder and executive chairman of IT Governance, said: “IT Governance is proud to have helped more than 7,000 clients achieve an internationally recognised qualification, enabling them to implement internationally auditable information security management systems (ISMSs). Our training courses are tailored to the specific needs of professionals everywhere, encouraging professional development as well as promoting continual improvement of organisations’ information security habits.”
ISO/IEC 27001:2013 (ISO 27001) is the international standard that describes best practice for an ISMS. Achieving accredited certification to ISO 27001 provides independent, expert verification that an organisation is managing information security in line with international best practice and business objectives.
IT Governance’s management team led the world’s first ISO 27001 certification project, and has helped more than 600 clients achieve ISO 27001 certification. The new ISO 27001 training course
dates will help meet increased demand.
CISMP is an established and internationally recognised foundation-level qualification that demonstrates a good knowledge of information security management. It is acknowledged across the UK and approved by the government in the Certified Professional training scheme.
IT Governance’s CISMP training course
