COBIT essential for achieving IT governance and control within an organisation

Ely, England, 9 January 2012 – In the past few years COBIT® has become one of the internationally accepted best practice frameworks for IT governance and control in successful organisations. It helps companies meet today’s business challenges in the areas of regulatory compliance, risk management and align their IT strategy with their corporate goals. COBIT can be used to support a variety of assurance activities, such as planning, scoping and assessing risks. The focus of COBIT is providing the correct information in a collaborative approach between business and IT, to facilitate the achievement of organisations’ strategic objectives.
