The most recent figures released from APMG-International show that PRINCE2 is still the preferred project management qualification.
With over 136,000 candidates taking the exam in 2011 alone, cumulative numbers are expected to hit 1 million in 2012 of total number exams ever taken.
Since 1996, the number of PRINCE2 examinations taken has grown year on year (excluding 2009-2010 due to the recession), growing considerably in countries such as Denmark, Germany and Poland.
