List of data breaches and cyber attacks in August

In the monthly round-up for August 2014, I mentioned that it was the longest list I had yet compiled. A year on and there’s been little improvement. This August’s list is a bit shorter, true, but the scale of the data leaks more than makes up for the slightly reduced number of breaches.

Here are this month’s data breaches, cyber attacks and victories against the criminal world.
