With less than four months until the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into effect, it is imperative that your organisation is prepared.
On 25 May 2018, the GDPR will introduce a number of significant changes that will apply to businesses of all sizes. The Regulation expands the rights of individuals over how their personal information is collected and processed. It also places new obligations on organisations to be more accountable for data protection.
Failure to comply with the GDPR could result in administrative fines of up to €20 million, or 4% of annual global turnover – whichever is higher.
IT Governance’s founder and GDPR expert: Alan Calder will be hosting a live Q&A to answer your GDPR related questions and concerns. The Q&A will take place live, via Twitter, at 3:00 pm on Valentine’s Day, Wednesday 14 February 2018.
This is a great opportunity to get answers to your GDPR related queries and gain further insight into the new Regulation.
