Who is this course suitable for?
The London based course training leading to this Certification has a wider scope than the Auditor training/Certification and is aimed at IT(SM) consultants and practitioners who wish to assist organisations to prepare for audit/certification.
What does this course cover?
In order to achieve the qualification, candidates must score at least 50% in each of the elements with a combined total of 65% or higher.

The Certificate is awarded to candidates passing the relevant examination, which can only be taken as part of an accredited training course.
The ISO/IEC 20000 practitioner examination is intended to assess the knowledge and skills that demonstrate proficiency in ISO/IEC 20000 and its application to be able to evaluate and apply knowledge to a range of activities that would support organizations in conforming to the requirements of Part 1, and achieving and retaining ISO/IEC 20000 certification.
The ISO/IEC 20000 practitioner examinations will test all syllabus topics. The exam will be an objective testing style examination (a complex style of multiple choice). There will be 4 questions per paper (each question totalling 20 marks) and all questions are mandatory. This will be an open book exam.
The examination will consist of 3 booklets:

Are there entry requirements?
Candidates must hold the ISO 20000 Foundation Certificate or the ITIL® Foundation certificate. A copy of your certificate will need to be provided to the exam body c/o IT Governance before exam results will be released.

Dr Geoff Harmer has over 29 years experience in the IT industry and has been awarded Chartered Engineer (CEng), Fellow of the British Computer Society (FBCS), Chartered Information Technology Professional (CITP) and Certified in The Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) status. He is an accredited lecturer for ITIL with the Information Systems Examination Board (ISEB), for COBIT with ISACA and for ISO 20000 with APMG (formerly itSMF). He is also an Associate Lecturer in Technology with the Open University (since 2000).
