Green IT initiatives - How JLP is Greening its IT ... This newly revised, best selling title shows you how!

This best-selling practical book  helps managers to navigate the confusing mass of information surrounding Green IT with greater ease. Focusing heavily on the experience of implementing the John Lewis Partnership’s Green IT programme, it contains a host of valuable ideas for establishing and formalising your own Green IT initiative.

Endorsed by Global Action Plan

This second edition has been updated to reflect the progress that JLP’s Green IT programme has made since 2008. The author shows how IT can be harnessed to help reduce carbon emissions across the whole organisation, pointing to the success of IT initiatives at Waitrose in improving demand forecasting and reducing food miles.

 Benefits to business include:

  • Understand the link between general Corporate Social Responsibility and Green IT
  • Find out how best to construct appropriate policies and metrics
  • Practical tried and tested tips on how to engage with employees and suppliers
  • Enjoy an insight into other people’s experiences in revealing in-depth case studies
  • A deeper appreciation of just how IT can begin to enable carbon footprint reduction in your organisation as a whole
