ISO/IEC 27001:2005 is the international version of the long standing BS7799-2.  From October 2005, ISO 27001 replaced BS7799-2:2002 as THE international information security management systems standard. Thereafter, ISO 27001 is the standard against which an ISMS must be certified, and it's the standard that increasingly organisations will use to demonstrate regulatory compliance and effective business risk management.
 

ISO/IEC 17799:2005 was renumbered ISO/IEC 27002:2005.  Both ISO/IEC 17799:2005 and ISO/IEC 27002:2005 are identical.

This kit contains ISO/IEC 27002:2005 which provides the essential guidance on implementing the controls listed in ISO 27001, plus the final published version of ISO/IEC 27001 - and buying the kit now gives you a £40 saving against the price of buying both standards individually.
