Colin Bentley has been a project manager since 1966 and has managed many projects, large and small, in several countries. He has been working with PRINCE2, PRINCE and its predecessor, PROMPT II, since 1975. He was one of the original team that brought PROMPT II to the marketplace, writing a major part of the PRINCE2 2009 manual. He was formerly chief examiner in PRINCE2 for the Association for Project Management Group (APMG) and the OGC (now the Cabinet Office).

The PRINCE2 Passport range of distance learning training courses is fully accredited by the APM Group. It was the first range of distance learning training courses to be accredited for studying to the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam in 2003.
