Qualifications that are certified by accredited and respected organisations are becoming an essential requirement of any IT governance professional. With an ever-increasing demand for information security staff, employers offer enhanced career opportunities to candidates who have certified qualifications and relevant experience.
Delegates attending and passing the examinations associated with the ISO 27001 Certified ISMS Foundation, Lead Implementer and Lead Auditor training courses will be awarded certificates by the examination body, gasq and approved by the International Board for IT Governance Qualifications.
Unlike many other suppliers of information security and risk management training, IT Governance focuses on providing a practical hands-on approach delivered by knowledgeable trainers and ensuring that delegates are awarded industry-standard certification.
We envisage that our training courses would meet the needs of the following MOD staff:
Prospective Service Leavers (SL) who wish to receive practical training and gain qualifications to support a career in information security and/or risk management in the future. For Service Leavers with experience in information security (JSP 440) and IT audit, the ISO 27001 Certified ISMS Lead Auditor provides ideal practical training and certification to assist in the development of a career as an ISO 27001 Auditor.
Experienced staff with a strong background in information security and risk assessment who wish to further develop their career by acquiring industry standard qualifications. The ISO 27001 Certified ISMS Lead Implementer course is particularly relevant in providing delegates with an in-depth and practical knowledge of the implementation of the ISO 27001 information security management standard.
Junior members of staff looking for awareness and introductory training. Relevant courses include the ISO 27001 Certified ISMS Foundation course.
