IT Governance E-Commerce One-Stop-Shop Announces New Investment and Expansion

Ely, England – 26 November 2007: IT Governance Ltd, the Ely-based e-commerce and professional services one-stop-shop has just completed a new round of funding. “Our revenue has been growing at about 100% year-on-year and, with our market in the UK and internationally continuing to expand very quickly, we now need to take on more people. We’ve put in place the funding to support the next phase of our expansion,” says CEO Alan Calder.

IT Governance Ltd (www.itgovernance.co.uk) is the market leader in the emerging business-to-business niche market for information, advice, books, tools, training and consultancy for the governance and management of IT.

The company has vacancies in its Ely offices for eight new members of staff, and wants to recruit them as quickly as possible. The new vacancies are for a Business Development Manager, a Marketing Executive, and Inside Sales person, an Analyst/Writer/Researcher, two consultants for the Information Risk consultancy division and two product executives, one to concentrate on information governance and knowledge management, the other to further expand the already significant information risk product range.

We’ve learnt to seek out people from across Cambridgeshire who have the right mix of attitudes, skills and interests, rather than demanding specific job expertise and subject knowledge,” said Alan Calder; “we adapt the job role to suit the people we employ and then ensure that we provide them with the training and guidance they need to get really good at what they’re doing. So far, it’s proved to be a winning formula!

I’m interested in hearing directly from people interested in being part of our growth,” concluded Alan Calder. “In fact, I hope to receive emails directly (on acalder@itgovernance.co.uk) from anyone interested in joining our team in one of the roles that we currently have vacant.
