Overview
The CGEIT certification program was designed specifically for professionals charged with satisfying the IT Governance needs of an enterprise.
Governance in IT
Introduced in 2007, the CGEIT designation is designed for professionals responsible for managing, providing advisory and assurance services, and otherwise supporting the governance of an enterprise’s IT, and wish to be recognized for their IT governance-related experience and knowledge.
CGEIT is based on ISACA’s, and the IT Governance Institute’s (ITGI’s) intellectual property, with the input of subject matter experts from around the world.
Studying for your CGEIT Examination
CGEIT certification is achieved by passing the official CGEIT exam, which are run in the UK and also across the worldelsewhere (see ISACA website for further details).
One of the most popular and successful methods of preparing for the CGEIT certification, is to attend a classroom based training course. With the exam only taking place twice per year, places on both the exam and relating training courses are reserved early - so make your reservation today!

Classroom based training is not, however, mandatory and, provided the candidate meets the ISACA registration requirements, anyone may sit the CGEIT exam. We offer a number of training aids specifically designed to help you pass the CGEIT exam.
CGEIT Exam Information
The CGEIT exam can only be taken on two occasions in a particular year, during the months of June and December. The dates are:
